I have my own radio show on Edge Radio. Edge Radio is Hobart’s only Youth Community Radio station. My show is called, ‘Chat with an Engineer’. I’ve had alot of fun doing my show thus far. This radio show has also allowed me to get involved with the community, build up networks with Professional Engineers and helped me in talking to young people.
On my first show I had Engineers Australia, Tasmanian Division President Keith Midson. We had a chat about engineering, what transport engineers do and about Engineers Australia.
I interviewed students who participated in the Science and Engineering Challenge Tasmanian State finals. It was a fun event and students enjoyed getting involved and competing with other schools.
I also had an interview with Marita Cheng. Marita is the founder of Robogals and Young Australian of the Year 2012. I was very lucky to get this interview.
